JiSMART2021—015: Health Perspective of Mountain City Waterfront Street Design Research

Abstract

It is of great significance for the construction of healthy China to examine the street space optimization in mountain cities from the perspective of health. This research proposes healthy environment, health service and health vitality for spatial optimization of waterfront streets in mountain cities. And the key points include traffic continuity, landscape ecology, spatial adaptability, slow safety, facility tolerance, intelligent convenience, subject diversity, business diversification and cultural continuity. Based on the analysis of the policy of Healthy streets in London, this paper puts forward optimization suggestions from five aspects: walking-friendly, quality improvement, functional diversity, vitality improvement and institutional management.
