Abstract

Greenway selection is an important way to build a blue-green spatial network. To address the problem of the lack of blue-green spatial connectivity in coastal areas, a typical coastal mountainous area (Shinnan District, Qingdao) was selected as the research object, and the ArcGIS spatial model was used to investigate the spatial layout type, spatial distribution pattern and distribution density of its green space. The study found that the green space in Shinnan District has a cohesive spatial pattern, and seven clusters of green space are formed, showing three types of distribution patterns: dependent, connected and supported. Based on this, a cost connectivity model is applied to determine the optimal network of the lowest cost paths in the southern part of the city, and a composite greenway selection method based on blue-green spatial network connections is proposed. This study helps to identify the resource characteristics of China's coastal areas and form a sound spatial connection of green infrastructure and blue corridors.
