JWACA2025-007: Green campus creation based on campus wind environment: taking danzhou primary school in sanya

Abstract

The Wind environment is a key element for green buildings and site comfort. The plan starts from the wind environment and addresses the local humid and hot climate at three levels：planning, individual building, and construction. The plan adopts a wind friendly layout, with the first floor elevated and the site sunken, open to wetlands, and forming a circulating wind field. Under the logic of "suitable wind field", the group expresses dynamic concepts and minimalist styles. Creation believes that engineering technology should first be rooted in the natural environment, and then seek the optimal coupling solution between functional applicability, cultural regionalism, and work personality.
