Abstract

The second stage of the Hangzhou Cloud Town Exhibition Center explores a new paradigm for large public buildings. The design transforms a typical convention center into a multi-functional space that includes a public park and sports facilities. The building is low-profile, with a roof garden featuring sports fields, a theater, and other amenities. The project emphasizes public accessibility and adaptability, with flexible spaces that can be easily reconfigured for various uses. The design aims to maximize public value and community engagement while minimizing resource waste.
