JWACA2023-031: Research On Culture Display in Railway Station Based on Image Semantic Segmentation——Take Beijing Zhangjiakou High Speed Railway Stations as An Example

Abstract

Beijing-Zhangjiakou high-speed railway is a special line serving 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, and, therefore, plays an important role in displaying Chinese culture and the long traditions of Winter Olympics.It does not only represents the world-leading construction technology of China's high-speed railways, but also carries the specific histories relating to the development of Beijing-Zhangjiakou railway over the last century . Based on the study of image semantics, taking three different sizes passenger stations of Beijing Zhangjiakou high speed railway as examples, this paper carries out data collection from the perspectives of researchers and audiences. On the basis of qualitative analysis, using the method of image semantic segmentation, a quantitative analysis method supported by data is proposed to explore the path and strategy of cultural expression of railway passenger stations. The carrier application laws from different perspectives, different passenger station scales and different types of culture are obtained, including structural and functional cultural carriers, which have high recognition rate and good design mining; Cultural audiences are more likely to pay attention to structural cultural carriers in large-scale stations and functional carriers in small spaces; The audience is most likely to get the cultural information of the carrier of architectural environment.
