Abstract

This paper explores the strategies for the preservation and transmission of the historical landscape genes of the Neicuoao community on Gulangyu Island from the perspective of the existing phenomenon of spontaneous construction in the community. During the study, the author found that some of the spontaneous construction in the Neicuoao community was contradictory to the conservation and heritage of the Neicuoao community. From the perspective of spontaneous construction, the author wishes to explore the deep-rooted problems that exist under the phenomenon of the spontaneous construction, Exploring the parallel top-down and bottom-up management mechanisms, and exploring the development of a text with guiding values for residents' spontaneous construction, to stimulate the power of "urban masters" in the preservation and transmission of the historical heritage, and to promote the healthy development of the historical landscape of the Neicuoao community.
