Abstract

The National Snowmobile Center in Yanqing, Beijing, is a state-of-the-art venue designed for bobsleigh, skeleton, and luge events. Located at the foot of the Xiaohaituo Mountain, the center features a 1.975 km track with 16 bends, designed to meet the rigorous standards of Olympic competition. The design philosophy emphasizes ecological integration, utilizing a Terrain Weather Protection System (TWPS) to shield the ice track from harsh climatic conditions while minimizing energy consumption. The center also incorporates a BIM (Building Information Modeling) fusion design to optimize the complex terrain and ensure seamless integration with the surrounding environment. Post-Olympics, the venue is planned for public use, promoting winter sports and sustainable tourism.
