Abstract

The Green Seedling project in Chengdu, Sichuan, is an example of architecture that learns from nature. The design features modular units with a central concrete pillar supporting large wooden arches. The structure is optimized for both form and function, using genetic algorithms to achieve an efficient structural form. The project incorporates sustainable practices, such as rainwater harvesting and green roofs, and uses prefabricated wooden components for rapid construction.
