JAUE2020-004: Sustainable Floating Community Planning Concept Design

Abstract

With global warming, melting polar glaciers and rising sea levels, countries around the world are conducting research on floating cities at sea and planning to build sustainable floating communities that can solve the inundation problems of coastal cities.This paper will study the relevant technologies, innovative planning,ecological protection, organic growth needs and models, ecology and sustainable development of floating communities, analyZe the advanced theories of marine urban design, marine ecological environment governance and basic structure of marine buildings at home and abroad, and apply them to the design of floating communities.Making conceptual design to meet the needs of tens of thousands of people in life, work, tourism and entertainment community space, combining the latest urban design concepts of sustainable development,ecological community, vibrant city and so on to create a new concept of urban design space, thus drawing a certain guiding design analysis ideas.It also provides an operable and innovative design plan for future coastal city seawater inundation problems.
