jaue2015077: A Study on the Classification of Flooding Information Problem: Focus on Seoul Metropolitan City

Abstract

Recently, the phenomenon of global climate change has increased due to localized torrential rainfall, including loss of lives and property damages. The damages are irregular caused by frontal heavy rainfall to regional localized heavy rain. The types of typhoon damages are also getting irregular from flooding to strong wind. The Seoul Metropolitan City offers the website "safety Nuri" (safe city. Seoul. Go. Kr) providing flooding forecast, flooding experience, shelters, evacuates route in order to reduce these kind of damages. However, the flooding expected areas and expected flooding areas are not same based on the results. Therefore. in this study. 25 places in Seoul were examined, especially 7 natural disaster risk areas. This study can be helpful to make less storm and flood damages and be prepared when natural disaster occurred.
