Spatial information is used in various areas, particularly in the area of construction, design, and maintenance.
As a method of constructing the existing three - dimensional spatial information, it used a device such as a manned
aircraft image or a ground radar. However, in the case of manned aircraft images, the photographing range is wide,
but if there is an error in photographing, it takes a lot of rephotographing period and it is hard to photograph in urban
area. In the case of the ground radar, it is an expensive equipment and it is still not applied in the work site of small
and medium scale. Therefore, in this study, 3D modeling of buildings using quick and economical UAV was
performed and compared with architectural drawings. Perform a manual photographing method was built existing
building model as a non-reference point circumferential flight method inserting the route with redundancy and tried
to reduce the time. This can be used as a basic data for future construction of building model.
