Abstract

Many underground malls located in the vicinity of the terminal station are not implementing countermeasures based on the acceptance of people who are unable to return home in emergency, including securing of power supply. Therefore, even if you can stay temporarily, it is not always possible to operate the equipment as usual, it is unclear whether it is possible to maintain an appropriate thermal environment for staying in a non-air conditioned condition. Therefore, in order to grasp the thermal environment in the underground mall when the air conditioning facility is not in operation in time of disaster, we measured the thermal environment in the summer, mid and winter in the underground mall in Fukuoka city. As a result of the measurement, it was confirmed that in the situation assuming a temporary stay at night, there is a period during which effective introduction of outside air in the summer, the operation of air conditioning in the winter is required.
