During the past fifteen years in China, the intensification of urbanization has led to a significant contraction in some cities, and traditional industrial cities have also begun to face transformation. Therefore, identifying and rationally using industrial land in shrinking cities has become the primary issue for the construction of sustainable cities. This paper takes Fushun as the research object, standardizes the data of the industrial land indicators of the research object based on the GIS platform, and obtains the comprehensive evaluation results of the land through the multi-factor evaluation method overlay analysis, such as: night lighting change rate, space expansion rate, job-resident balance ratio and other factors. It will analyze the development of industrial land in Fushun and make the strategy to deal with the contraction.
