Urban heat island (UHI) has become a problem in the current city. Evaluation of urban environment so far was going to approach of evaluation of heat exposure from such as temperature and humidity. Life subject of the city is a person.
Therefore, the ability to assess the heat exposure from element of human is important. Therefore, the purpose of this study tried to evaluate the urban environment from element of human. First, in this study, the risk of heat stroke was evaluated from core temperature.
Heat stroke is closely related to the thermoregulatory function of human. However, we use the WBGT (Wet Bulb Globe Temperature) of outdoor environmental factors when we assess the risk of heat stroke in general. Therefore, evaluation of heat stroke by WBGT does not take into account Thermoregulatory function of human. For that reason, evaluation is taken on the safe side big, and there is a possibility that life is limited. Therefore, in this study, I evaluated in thermoregulatory function of human by heat stroke risk.
Also, core temperature of walking during outdoor urban space is measured by the experimental subjects. WBGT value and rise in body temperature results were not necessarily the correlate.
