Abstract

Since the end of last century, the real estate has become the pillar industry of Chinese cities. The large-scale residential area more and more becomes the important element for theconstruction of urban spatial pattern and mechanism, and deeply influences the city environment and climate. The microclimate features inside of the large-scale residential areas have influenced not only on residents’climate comfortable sensation, but also directly on the environment and climate situation of surrounding cities. Thus, with ENVI-met 4 numerical simulation technology, this paper conducts the simulation research on the typical microclimate features in residential areas of Luoyang city, and compares the climate suitability designs under different building density, height and green coverage rate. This paper takes 5 residential areas on the Middle Mudan Avenue,New City Region as research objects, compares the differences between architectural design layout, architectural space layoutand the wind environment features in the residential areas with similar location, area scale, greening rate and plot ratio, and finally summarizes the design rules of the wind environmental comfortin the typical residentialareas of Luoyang.
