Abstract

Jeju is warm and humid island with regional characteristic of strong wind and much moisture. In addition, Azimuth and altitude climate appears differently affected by topographical factor of Mountain Halla. For this reason, Jeju house appears various issues according to climatic characteristics of each region. In particular, the difference of temperature and humidity and wind speed by altitudinal difference in winter is gives a lot of influence on the insulation and airtight performance. But, the quantitative analysis of these differences is not case and differentiated building performance standards due to climate difference was not present. So, residents are repair and reinforcement by the decision of their own. In this paper, comparing the indoor environment and problem about indoor temperature and humidity of Jeju winter house by altitude were analyzed using a measuring device. The proposed plan through the analysis can be insulation performance standards and efficient heating systems appropriate for climate environment by each altitude.
