With the national income increasing, many people are using electricity rather than fossil fuels become of its convenience.Summer and winter use of power increased due to the changes in weather conditions caused by climate change, expanding the spread of electrical equipment. Accordingly, the peak power mostly occurred in summer and winter. Stable management issues have been raised about peak power and the electric power supply reserve ratio. Therefore Building energy is asking for a new recognition.Determining the status of the electric consumption of the building must take precedence in order for the power-consuming building to be a more efficient building. This study analyses a survey on energy consumption through field surveys aimed at special grade hotels in Daegu. As a result of the study, the amount of electrical energy needs of the whole building power was about 88 percent. Special grade hotel buildings were analyzed to characterize the power consumption data examined yearly, monthly, daily and hourly according to the variation of outdoor air Temperature. Finally this study aimed at presenting basic information to improve the efficiency of energyconsuming buildings including the domestic hotel.
