Abstract

This study examines the design philosophy of Steven Holl's residential works in light of the background of modern architecture since 1990. Steven Holl, who is considered one of the most important architects in the United States, is known for his unique conceptual designs that take advantage of the unique geography of each project through the use of light in space and his own artistic expression. He is known for the way he incorporates light into the space and his artistic expression. I will discuss the design philosophy of Steven Holl, a world-renowned architect who has been active since 1990, and discuss the components of his design philosophy in light of the background of modern architecture. The purpose of this research is to propose a variety of design processes and to contribute to the knowledge of architectural design.
