Abstract

The narrow understanding of architectural education is "the content & the way of architectural learning". The content of architectural learning includes two aspects: architectural ontology knowledge and architectural design knowledge. There are three ways to learn architecture, respectively is traditional methods, architectural experience, and learning with masters. Architecture has the characteristics of the times, and architectural education will also be affected and promoted by the development and changes of the times. Today, there are five major changes in our country's higher education. New engineering, double first-class, double ten thousand plans are constantly being proposed. Some require professional adjustments in teaching content, and some require professional reform of teaching methods. After exploring the core knowledge system of architecture and the nature of the "reform" and "invariability" learning methods, it was found that the core learning content and learning methods that architecture differs from other disciplines will not change over time, but what can be changed is the teaching methods and learning methods to acquire this knowledge and architectural experience. The purpose of architectural education, like all education, is not only a vocational training, but to promote the common growth of students' spirit and intelligence, to develop their wisdom talent and make them master the essence and significance of architecture.
