Abstract

The healing environment refers to the physical environment that can support physical health and emotional well- being, playing a therapeutic role. The current health problems of urban residents are becoming increasingly prominent, with frequent occurrences of depression, anxiety, and various psychological problems. Analyzing the related research on the healing environment from the perspective of the healing needs of urban residents can help promote the development and practice of the healing environment. This essay is based on CiteSpace software and conducts quantitative statistics and data analysis on literature related to the healing environment in China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) and Web of Science databases. The results indicate that foreign research has currently formed a relatively complete theoretical system and practical experience. The research on the healing environment in China is still in the stage of rise and development. The research mainly focuses on the design and exploration of physical space, and there is a gap in the depth and breadth of research compared to foreign countries. Future research can further enrich the connotation of healing environments and provide new perspectives for the construction of healthy living environments.
