In recent years, due to rapid urbanization and land use changes, the development of cities and urban agglomerations has led to serious fragmentation and insularization of landscape patches, which in turn has brought about serious ecological security problems. The interrelationship between urbanization and ecological security is complex, and most of the existing studies evaluate the relationship between urbanization and ecological security from a unidimensional perspective. It is necessary to analyze the coordination between urbanization and ecosystems from a multidimensional perspective in order to improve the reliability of research results and to present the overall development trend from both static and dynamic perspectives. This study takes Macau and Hengqin as the object of study, establishs an integrated research framework for urban system science-ecological security pattern values, and proposes corresponding strategies for ecological patch diversity maintenance, ecological corridor connectivity enhancement and ecological node resilience construction. This study aims to improve the urban ecological quality of Macau and Hengqin, optimize the ecological environment to achieve the goal of synergistic optimization of Hengqin-Macao urban agglomeration, and expands the application of urban science theory to ecological security patterns.
