Abstract

This report summarizes the "Southeast Asian Architectural Culture" exchange forum organized by the World Association of Chinese Architects (WACA) in Singapore in February 2025. Hosted in collaboration with Surbana Jurong Group, the event featured keynote presentations from academics and practitioners on the historical evolution and sustainable future of Southeast Asian architecture. The program included site visits to institutions like the Singapore Urban Redevelopment Authority and Nanyang Technological University, as well as bilateral talks with the Singapore Institute of Architects. The forum aimed to strengthen academic and professional networks among Chinese architects globally, focusing on design innovation and cultural dialogue within the Southeast Asian context.
