The Qingdao Oriental Film Metropolis Grand Theater is a cultural landmark located in Qingdao's West Coast Economic New Area. Designed by Chang Qi, the theater features a distinctive facade inspired by the "jade snail," a common coastal element that evokes a sense of familiarity and cultural depth. The 24,000 sqm complex includes a 1,970-seat auditorium and supporting facilities. The design aims to create an iconic venue for international film festivals and daily red-carpet events, offering an exceptional visual experience. The project integrates modern architectural techniques with cultural symbolism, enhancing the region's cultural landscape.
