JWACA2024-022: Zhudong Ren'ai stereoscopic parking lot

Abstract

The Zhudong Ren’ai Stereoscopic Parking Lot in Hsinchu County, Taiwan, is a modern parking facility designed to address urban traffic and parking challenges while enhancing the local urban landscape. The project incorporates elements inspired by the local forestry and Hakka culture, such as wooden textures and umbrella-like structures. The design features a dynamic architectural form with circular geometries and a perforated metal facade, creating a visually striking yet functional urban space. The facility also includes a public park, promoting community interaction and improving the overall urban environment.
