Abstract

The Huiyang No. 7 Middle School and Affiliated Primary School is a nine-year integrated school designed with a focus on cost-effectiveness and sustainability. The design features a linear building that creates semi-open courtyards, inspired by traditional Lingnan architecture. The project incorporates energy-efficient practices, such as natural ventilation and shading, to create comfortable learning environments. The building's exterior uses simple white volumes with strategically placed openings to provide shade and natural light.
