Due to the spread of the new coronavirus, window opening ventilation is recommended in elementary and junior high school classrooms. Although the wearing of masks is not mandatory in elementary school classrooms, there is a need to ensure adequate ventilation as a countermeasure against infectious diseases during normal times, and it is necessary to continue to operate schools using both natural ventilation and air conditioning. Therefore, in this study, efforts were made to improve the classroom environment in summer and winter by using environmental learning lessons to encourage children's environmental adjustment behavior in both schools with and without ventilation facilities. As a result, the thermal environment was improved in both schools in summer, but it was confirmed that it was difficult to adjust the environment in rainy weather in the schools without ventilation facilities. In addition, it was confirmed that humidity was not regulated in both schools during the winter season.
