Abstract

Although Japan is a country of rich forest resources, the domestic self-sufficiency rate of wood is low. It is thought that the cause of such a problem is caused not only by the problem of forestry itself but by the whole industry, containing forestry. forest-products industry, construction industry and purchaser. So, in this research, it overlooks the social structure (domestic timber and wooden house demand-supply system) from forestry through the purchaser and the client, and grasped the relationship of the problem. Therefore the Socio-technique for domestic timber and wooden house demand-supply system reproduction are proposed. In order to verify the proposed Socio-technique, domestic timber and wooden house demand-supply system present condition model are created. As a result, it showed the increase in domestic timber demand, and therefore the possibility of the proposed Socio-technique was verified.
