Abstract

The brain-wave is expected to become one clue to search for the environmental effects on human health. If the brain-wave characteristics measured in a certain environment is outside of the normal condition ranges, it can be suggested that the environment effects on human-body or human-mind significantly. However, it is necessary to understand the exact brain-wave characteristics under the normal environment for performing that kinds of investigations above mentioned. This study has been conducted to make clear the human brain-wave characteristics under the normal environment. The brain-wave data of 15 subjects were measured under the normal environment that is well controlled as the normal conditions, and RMS-voltages of the component waves; θ/α/β/γ-waves, were derived. As the result of this study, the statistical distributions of brain-waves by 15 subjects under the normal environment were showed and the significant clues for environmental evaluation were obtained.
