jaue2015032: The Influence of Involving Retirement Industry in Old Areas’ Renewal

Abstract

Nowadays China is faced with the problem of aging and urbanization. As results of the two challenges, which model of retirement business should be chosen and how to renew the old areas of city haunt the related scholars, officials and the whole industry. Take the feature of China’s aging and old areas’ resource into consideration, we can draw the conclusion that promoting retirement industry during the renewal of old areas may ease the aging pressure, stimulate old areas’ transition and make it survive in the rapidly changing of urban environment.
