jaue2015076: A Study on the Emergency Light Cognitive Effects according to Background Luminance using regression Analysis

Abstract

During evacuation route choice, largest factor affecting to agent is a visual element. The agent should be able to easily seethe emergency lights. But research about cognition of emergency light is insufficient. Therefore, in this study, research about cognitive distance according to background luminance was carried out. In this study, evacuation experiment are conducted to examine difference of cognitive effects according to background luminance. Dependent variable of experiment is background luminance which mean light source around the emergency light. Luminance value was controlled by Background Luminance Control Panel(BLCP). And regression analysis was performed based on the results of experiments.
