China has entered an aging society, and the situation is getting serious progressively. Improving urban community health services and home care services for the elderly are important tasks for China to cope with the aging social problems. Taking the Taiyilu Jiaoda community health service station as an example, this paper makes an empirical study on the urban community health service facilities. By means of observation, interview, and questionnaires, we investigate the basic living conditions, health status, medical behavior, health service needs, and the community health service station usage of the elderly living in the Jiaoda community. According to the investigation and analysis, we summarize the existing problems between the current situation of urban community health service facilities and the real health service needs of the elderly, and then propose some suggestions for improvement from the perspective of architecture.
