In recent years, the smog pollution problem has become an urgent environmental problem in China. The pollutant emission of coal-fired boilers in winter is the main cause of smog. The use of clean energy to replace is an important measure urgently needed to solve the atmospheric problem. As a renewable energy source, solar energy is neither subject to regional restrictions nor noise pollution. The most important thing is that it does not produce carbon dioxide pollution, which plays an important role in protecting the environment. After introducing the current status of the application of this system abroad, this paper analyzes the problems that should be paid attention to in the development of solar district heating systems in China in light of the actual situation in China, and introduces two heat storage methods, inter-season heat storage and short-term heat storage. The adaptability of solar district heating in China is analyzed, and the development prospect of solar district heating technology in China is predicted.
