At present, there are few studies on passive heating of rural houses in China. According to the China Building Energy Consumption Research Report (2019), released by the Energy Consumption Statistics Committee of the China Building Energy Conservation Association, carbon emissions from China's construction industry will continue to increase and are expected to peak in 2039. According to a report published last year by the Energy Transition Commission, the construction industry should take a number of steps to promote "passive building" design and improve material efficiency. In this study, the hot summer and cold winter area in southern Shaanxi was selected as the research site, and the solar heating system of storage roof pool was planned to be constructed. The system uses the attic panels to absorb solar energy and heat storage capacity, as well as the principle of thermal radiation and convection to improve the indoor temperature. The advantage is that solar energy belongs to renewable energy, reducing the dependence on fossil energy. The results show that the indoor temperature can be improved effectively by using the solar heating system of regenerative roof pool.
