The purpose of this research is to grasp the extent to which the flame emitted from the opening of a building in the case of a fire affects adjacent buildings and combustibles. For this reason, we modeled the building using FDS, a fire simulation program, and analyzed the extent of the flame, the distance the flame exerts, and the characteristics of the mold in the physical environment of general buildings. Simulation results confirmed that the flame was generated horizontally from the beginning of the fire, and the temperature of 100 degrees or more was propagated up to about 4 meters. After a certain period of time, it was found that the flame scattered in the vertical direction up to a height of 25 meters, with a flame temperature of 100 degrees. The results of the research are judged to be useful as basic materials for grasping the danger of the transition of fire in spaces, especially as future crowded buildings continue to gather densely.
