Walking commercial street becomes more and more popular among the people because of its good security,
entertainment and commercial atmosphere. In recent years, in order to improve the quality of the pedestrian street
and enhance the economic vitality of the street, the construction of the pedestrian has become an important role in
the construction of the urban Commercial pedestrian street is composed of the open space and the buildings which
stand on both sides of the street, the space which is formed by the width of the street and the height of the building
not only affects the commercial atmosphere but also influences the microclimate of the street. This paper focues
the attention on the urban pedestrian street in hot-summer and cold-winter area, talks about the formation
mechanism of the microclimate of the pedestrian street in hot summer. This study selects the pedestrian street and
climatic data research, through researching the selected street get the experimental data. Through the CFD
simulation and inputting the meteorological information into the software. Envi-met to simulate the wind speed,
air temperature and humidity. Through the simulated data, analyzing the wind environment, thermal comfort of
the street. To analyze the formation mechanism of the wind and thermal comfort and sum up the coupling
relationship between the street and the wind, thermal comfort.
