Recently, BIM (Building Information Modeling) became mandatory in Korea, and BIM started to be implemented in construction area. BIM is a design tool for maximizing the efficiency in architecture, construction and maintenance throughout the lifecycle of buildings, but there is a lack of the studies on BIM application in the demolition stage. Accordingly this study aims to propose the management plan of C&D Wastes in the stage of dismantlement using BIM.
The existing management plan of C&D Wastes has been analyzed for this. The management plan at time of building dismantlement has been analyzed with BIM by forecasting the classification of C&D Wastes by the property, the generation amount of C&D Wastes based on this. The process suggested in this study is expected to serve as the basic data for enabling BIM application to demolition stage.
