This study aims to investigate the economic benefits and decarbonization effects through the implementation of economic Demand Response (DR) utilizing Electric Vehicles (EVs). Focusing on office buildings in urban commercial areas, it evaluates the reduction in energy costs and CO2 emissions achieved through economic DR, considering the operational status of EVs. As a result, in small office buildings, an energy cost reduction of ¥173,000 per vehicle/year was achieved, along with a decrease in CO2 emissions of 310.1 kg-CO2 per vehicle/year. In medium-sized office buildings, the energy cost was reduced by ¥175,000 per vehicle/year, and CO2 emissions were reduced by 278.3 kg-CO2 per vehicle/year. In large office buildings, there was a reduction in energy costs of ¥176,000 per vehicle/year and a decrease in CO2 emissions of 247.6 kg-CO2 per vehicle/year.
