Abstract

There is a gap in the shutter installed in the underground mall for the purpose of ventilation etc., and the increase
of the air conditioning load due to the inflow of the outside air at night has become a problem in promoting energy
saving. Therefore, by measuring the outside air flowing in from the entrance stairs of the underground mall and
grasping the changes in the direction of inflow and outflow and the wind speed, the outside air inflow and outflow
was estimated. Furthermore, with the measured wind speed etc. as the input condition of CFD, the flow of air at
the time of the outside air inflow was reproduced by simulation, and the accuracy verification of CFD was
performed. Then, the influence of the outside air inflow on the whole underground mall was grasped by
simulation using CFD. As a result, we could understand the relationship with the wind flow on the ground and the
features of the air flow in from the entrance and exit stairs.
