Abstract

During the pandemic of Covid-19, schools and universities are also practicing distance learning from home. This paper aims to: first, try to evaluate the BIM learning methodology conducted by lecturers of the Architecture Department, ITS to more than 30 students from different areas of Indonesia through joined course KMMI, a program organized by the Ministry of Education. Secondly, identify the influential BIM software during the introduction of Revit Architecture course. Questionnaire survey is conducted at the end of the course to more than 30 participants to grasp the understanding and evaluate the learning methodology. The results are presented and then conducted the statistical analysis to find influential factors (other BIM softwares) that affect the way of thinking during the teaching and learning process of Revit. Furthermore, the findings of this study will be used to develop the methodology on teaching architectural science and practice towards post-pandemic.
