The distribution of indoor pollutant concentration in office buildings is affected by changes in airflow
organization, and the degree and distribution of different pollutants in the airflow organization are also different.
The traditional method is to use some experimental instruments to measure or use mathematical models to
speculate the distribution of pollutants. These methods ignore the influence of air convection on the diffusion
and the experimental process is cumbersome, and it is impossible to accurately predict the distribution of
pollutants in the room. In this paper, FLUENT software is used to simulate the distribution of pollutants in
office buildings in severe cold regions under different wind pressures. The simulation process establishes the
definition of the calculation model and boundary conditions through Gambit software, and uses FLUENT
software to calculate the transmission of the pollution source components, and solve and post-process the
optimal solution, thus providing a theoretical basis for the rationalization of building ventilation design.
