jaue2019-066: Optimization of Sensor Position for Seismic Monitoring System of Old School Facilities Using Genetic Algorithm

Abstract

This paper will examine how to set the optimal position and the number of sensors for the sensor installation to 
measure the vibration signal and control power. Therefore, this paper aims to determine the optimal sensor position 
of monitoring system using limited sensor. In order to search for data set providing information about deformation 
of the structure by seismic load, sensor is installed in structure based on the critical position.
