JAUE2022-063: Research on the Control Measures and Treatment Technology of Indoor VOCs Pollutants in China

Abstract

This review systematically introduces the definition, source, evaluation standard of indoor VOCs in China. The types and concentration limits of pollutants in the current methods and standards of various countries are compared. The types of control indicators in the standards are increasing year by year, and the control standards are becoming more and more strict. The present treatment technologies of VOCs pollutants are reviewed in detail from two categories: recovery technology and elimination technology, and their advantages and disadvantages are pointed out. The composition of indoor VOCs pollutants is complex, and the substances to be removed are different in types and concentrations. It is often difficult to obtain satisfactory results by using a single purification technology. The synergistic purification methods such as joint purification technology are proposed, which will be the mainstream direction of the development of indoor air purification technology in the future.
