Distributed energy resources and controllable loads can be aggregated in virtual power plant (VPP), which is an important measure in overcoming global carbon reduction problem. However, the uncertainty of renewable energy generation poses a significant threat to the grid. Under this background, an optimization aggeregation VPP model consisted of updating high efficiency appliances, photovoltaic and energy storage systems was proposed, aiming to improve regional energy self-sufficiency and maximize load leveling performance. The uncertainty of renewable energy generation is compensated by the energy diversity of VPP. And result shows that the proposed VPP model contribute the community achieved 100% of energy self-sufficiency rate.
