JWACA2025-011: A Study on the Visual Perception of Walking on the Hunhe Waterfront Greenway in Shenyang under the Guidance of Health Promotion

Abstract

Waterfront GreenwayThe waterfront greenway is an important space carrier for urban residents to carry out walking tours and sports and fitness activities. The improvement of the quality of walking space will have a positive impact on the psychology of walkers, which is an important part of the construction of a healthy city. In this paper, taking the waterfront greenway on the south bank of the core section of the Hunhe River in Shenyang as the research object, a methodological system of the influencing mechanism of pleasant perception of the walking space of the waterfront greenway was proposed. Explore the public's pleasurable perceptual response to the pedestrian space of the waterfront greenway. To reveal the influencing mechanism of spatial feature measures on the perception of walking pleasure. Enhance the environmental experience of the waterfront green pedestrian space to meet the visual and psychological needs of the public. Guided by the quantitative research on the characteristics of pedestrian space of waterfront greenway, the design guidelines of urban waterfront greenway space are proposed according to the spatial characteristics, which lays a foundation for the formulation of spatial control items of urban waterfront greenway.
