The Shenzhen Middle School Pingshan Innovation School reinterprets traditional Chinese academy layouts in a modern context. The design follows a "front courtyard, rear garden" structure, inspired by Lingnan academies, creating a series of courtyards and teaching blocks that encourage interaction and learning. The use of red terracotta bricks and modern materials like smart skylights in the atriums enhances the building's aesthetic and functionality. The design also includes flexible corridors that serve as extended learning spaces, promoting a dynamic educational environment. The project aims to blend traditional spatial order with modern educational needs, fostering a vibrant academic atmosphere.
