Abstract

Purpose: To provide a reference basis for the energy-saving design of the envelope structure with quantitative indicators for the architectural design. Method: Based on the statistical data of 44 public buildings in the five climate regions, the OLS fixed effects regression model was used to analyze the quantitative relationship between building energy consumption and building envelope. Results: For every unit increase in the building surface area, the building energy consumption changes by 0.53 units in the same direction; for every unit increase in the building area, the building energy consumption changes by 0.46 units in the negative direction; the heat transfer coefficient of the external walls increases by 1 unit, the building The energy consumption fluctuates by 0.31 units in the same direction. Conclusion: In the era of big data, using statistical methods to perform statistical analysis on past architectural designs, the results of the analysis can provide architects with a certain amount of quantitative data reference.
