With the development of social economy, the problem of resources and energy problem became serious. Building energy efficiency is becoming more and more important. Existing residential buildings in our country quantity bedding face is wide, and the vast majority of the energy-saving building and running energy consumption. The quantity of existing residential house in China is large,and the vast majority of the building cost huge energy. The energy-saving reform of the existing is imperative. We researched the reform of the old house in Dalian, Zhongshan district, Shanping street by materials interview and investigation, especially from the aspects of building external wall insulation and neighborhood residents life behavior patterns.The energy-saving reform is not simple, it needs comprehensive modification design. It also needs return visit investigation, so the effect of energy-saving reform can be assured by objective evaluation.
