jaue2021-049: Research on the Elevation Results Based on the Reconstruction and Restoration of Old Buildings in Guantao Road, Shibei District, Qingdao

Abstract

With the rapid development of urbanization and large-scale demolition and construction, many old buildings
have not reached their service life.It affects residents' living experience in the original block and causes a large
amount of waste of resources and urban pollution. The historical traces of the characteristic street architecture of
the city have also been erased. Based on the method of ancient building surveying and mapping, this paper studies
the reconstruction and restoration of the old building facades on Guantao Road, Shibei District, Qingdao, and
explores the efficient reconstruction and rehabilitation of old buildings in characteristic historical urban blocks,
and provides for urban planning through the method of overall restoration and partial rebuilding. A new idea to
achieve the unity and harmony of the historical district, awaken the former vitality of the district, and increase
residents' comfort.
