We examined the difference in the surrounding thermal environment around buildings between cases in which the buildings outer wall is single glass (single-skin facade) versus paired glass (double-skin facade). As a result, by incorporating double-skin facades, we found that the maximum temperature rises by about 0.8 ° C in the surrounding area. Also, as a measure to alleviate them, we proposed to adjust the number of ventilation openings, and as a result we were able to lower the maximum temperature by 0.5° C.
