Abstract

In recent years, with the rapid development of economy, the green energy-saving design of buildings has received more and more attention in China. In modern architectural design, people often ignore the application of green energy-saving features in buildings. This paper uses literature method and fieldwork method to explore and discover the application of green energy-saving design practices in traditional Chinese ancient dwellings, and points out how to incorporate green design methods, climate, environment, and region in the design of traditional Chinese dwellings. It is hoped that by exploring the green energy-saving practices in traditional Chinese dwellings, new methods and ideas can be provided for modern green energy-saving architectural design. It is hoped that by exploring the green energy-saving techniques in Chinese traditional houses, we can provide new methods and ideas for modern green energy-saving architectural design, and quickly and effectively promote the development of green energy-saving architectural design.
